Role Overview

About the Client:

The client is a fast-growing independent professional wrestling promotion, similar to WWE, based in Atlanta, Georgia. The company produces free monthly live shows at local breweries and venues, attracting 300 to 400 attendees per event, and is now transitioning from a passion project into a sustainable business focused on sponsorship revenue, social media growth, and regional expansion, including a major event tied to WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas.

About The Role

We are seeking a Part Time Virtual Assistant, around 20 hours per week, to support growth and operations. The role will focus on sponsorship outreach, relationship follow up, and coordinating a major Las Vegas event, while also assisting with ongoing show logistics and social media execution. This position requires a proactive self-starter comfortable with outreach, coordination, and working in a flexible, results driven environment, with potential to grow as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Major Project Coordination and Expansion Focus
  • Las Vegas Event Execution Lead the coordination of a major free wrestling event in Las Vegas around WrestleMania weekend, including outreach, follow up, and relationship management.
  • Venue and Partnership Outreach Research, identify, and contact potential Las Vegas venues that may be open to hosting or partnering on a charitable wrestling event.
  • Charity Partnerships Identify and connect with local charities to secure collaboration and align event goals, logistics, and messaging.
  • Logistics Coordination Assist with coordinating logistics related to the event, which may include scheduling, documentation, and booking travel for the core team.
  • Business Development and Sponsorship Outreach
  • Local Sponsorship Sales Proactively reach out to local Atlanta businesses and community organizations to pitch sponsorship opportunities using an existing sponsorship package.
  • Follow Up and Relationship Management Manage consistent follow up with interested sponsors to drive commitments, renewals, and long term relationships.
  • Sales Communication Confidently present sponsorship opportunities, answer questions, and guide prospects toward a decision.
  • Ongoing Operations and Show Coordination
  • Talent and Crew Coordination Contact wrestlers, crew members, and vendors ahead of each show to confirm attendance, call times, and logistics.
  • Show Scheduling Support Coordinate with venues and vendors to confirm dates, timelines, and operational needs in the weeks leading up to events.
  • Social Media Execution Support Support the execution of the social media strategy by coordinating content rollout and working alongside the internal creative team.
  • Continuous Improvement and Delegation
  • Process Support Identify repetitive or time consuming tasks that can be delegated over time to free up the Owner’s focus on high level growth and creative direction.
  • Ownership Mindset Take responsibility for assigned projects and proactively communicate progress, blockers, and next steps.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proactive Self Starter

Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and managing projects with minimal oversight.

  • Strong Communication Skills

Clear, professional English communication with an emphasis on timely follow up and relationship building.

  • Sales and Outreach Comfort

Confidence with cold outreach, follow up, and asking for commitments, especially in sponsorship or partnership contexts.

  • Resourceful and Adaptable

Able to navigate ambiguity, research solutions, and determine next steps without needing constant direction. Be able to find creative solutions to challenges that will arise. This is a unique business plan, so theres no set road map and theyll have to find new paths towards the goal when it seems like none exist.

  • Inclusive and People Focused

Pleasant, professional demeanor aligned with a brand that values diversity, inclusivity, and community engagement.

  • Relevant Experience

Experience in sales, sponsorship outreach, event coordination, project management, or marketing execution is strongly preferred.
