About the Role

Hive Health is entering its next phase of growth and is seeking a senior technology and product leader to take full ownership of its product, engineering, and data functions.

As Director of Technology & Product, you will join Hive Health’s executive management team and have end-to-end ownership across product, engineering, and data functions, with a scope comparable to a C-level role in larger organizations. You will build on established systems and teams and will be responsible for scaling what works, introducing greater operating rigor, and ensuring Hive’s technology platform scales sustainably in line with the organization’s long-term growth, reliability, and regulatory excellence. You will play a critical role in helping Hive deliver a more efficient, transparent, and high-quality healthcare experience for Filipinos through innovative, AI-powered tech-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

As the Director of Technology & Product, you are accountable for:

• Building and continuously improving products that serve both external users and internal teams, ensuring strong user experience, scalability, and business impact
• Setting product and technology direction, aligning roadmaps across Product, Engineering, and Data with company strategy and priorities
• Leveraging data to inform product decisions, operational improvements, and executive decision-making
• Overseeing system architecture and infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency as the company grows
• Ensuring security, privacy, and compliance, including data protection, access controls, and adherence to healthcare and regulatory requirements
• Developing and scaling high-performing teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management of Product, Data & Analytics, and Engineering leaders
• Driving cross-functional alignment, ensuring dynamic collaboration between technology, operations, finance, and business teams
• Providing IT and internal tooling oversight, ensuring employees have reliable systems, tools, and support to operate effectively

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in fast-growing technology startups or scale-up environments
• Proven experience leading and scaling product, engineering, and/or data teams through senior managers or leads
• Proven ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels, translating business goals into technical and product outcomes
• Strong product judgment with the technical depth to guide architecture and platform decisions, informed by experience operating scalable and secure systems in regulated or data-sensitive environments.
• Familiarity with modern cloud-based architectures and data platforms is required
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders and drive clarity in ambiguous environments
• Strong ownership mindset, sound judgment, and comfort making high-impact decisions in fast-moving organizations
