About the Client:

The client is branded as "Hawaiis Call Center" and specializes in providing Reservation Support for Tour & Activity Operators. The company leverages local Hawaii experts with extensive experience in tourism and hospitality. Their service offerings are comprehensive, including Full Service Reservations, Customer Service, Revenue Management, and crucially for this role, OTA Management Solutions for travel clients. The VA will be joining a team dedicated to elevating client sales and customer service with a spirit of Aloha.

About The Role

The client is seeking a motivated and capable Listings Management Virtual Assistant (VA). This is a Full-Time role and is crucial for maintaining the firms clients online presence by managing and optimizing tour listings on third-party platforms. The successful candidate will take over essential digital marketing responsibilities, demonstrate a long-term commitment, and excel at managing client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Online Listing Management (Primary Focus)
  • OTA Management: Managing, updating, and maintaining tour listings on various Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), such as TripAdvisor, BetterGuide, Expedia, and other platforms.
  • Content Integrity: Regularly ensuring that all listing information, including tour details, photos, pricing, and availability, is accurate and up-to-date across all platforms.
  • Optimization: Performing digital marketing activities focused on listing optimization and ensuring the accuracy and quality of all online data.
  • Client Facing & Internal Collaboration
  • Client Meetings: Attend meetings with clients to discuss the progress of their listings and performance.
  • Communication & Needs Translation: Serve as the internal liaison to translate client expectations and needs into actionable listing updates and strategies.
  • Internal Collaboration: Working closely with the internal team to support the marketing and customer operation needs of travel industry clients.
  • Systems and Administration
  • Process Execution: Executing company-specific processes for working with OTAs (training will be provided for this unique niche).
  • CRM/Marketing Tools: Familiarity with HubSpot is highly desirable.
  • Email Marketing Support: Provide support for basic email marketing activities.

Technical & Experience

  • Digital Marketing Background: Essential strong foundation and understanding of digital marketing principles.
  • Travel Industry Experience (Preferred): Previous experience managing listings or working with Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) in the travel or tourism sector is preferred.
  • Tech Savvy: Ability to learn and manage listings across multiple online platforms (OTAs).
  • Software: Strong knowledge of HubSpot is a plus.
