What are we looking for?

Skills Required Supplemented with experience developing with; Architectural experience with the following

• 3+ years I.T. experience - ideally eCommerce or Retail Industry exposure.- 3+ years I.T. experience - ideally eCommerce or Retail Industry exposure.
• Experience working cross functionally at senior levels
• Software development lifecycle and processes
• Software development lifecycle and processes
• Agile development processes
• Support and development of all current and future I.T. applications and associated systems by specialising in;
• Java development
• JavaScript (node.js) development
• React
• Laravel or similar framework
• Web Pages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Web services integration (Rest, Soap)
• Experience with databases (relational & non- relational)
• Version control (Git)
• Cloud-first design & development practices (AWS or similar)
• Microservice architecture & design o DevOps
  
  

What will you do?

• Monitor and maintain all installed systems and infrastructure via a prioritised queue of relevant IT issues, incident and problems
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools - Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability to SLA
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixeso Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systemso Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
• Problem-solve and fix IT defects
• Develop and implement IT changes in line with Officeworks strategic objectives.
• Liaise with business teams and Domain Architect to deliver IT solutionso Liaise with IT security team to develop and implement security initiatives to align with industry best practice
