Role & Responsibilities

• Snowflake Data Engineering: Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines, extracting and ingesting data from multiple sources (ERP systems like Infor, HR apps, finance apps, Excel, APIs, or custom applications, etc.) into Snowflake.
• Data Transformation & Modelling: Clean, format, and structure ingested data to create consistent, high-quality datasets ready for downstream reporting and analytics in tools such as Power BI.
• Platform Administration & Ownership: Manage Snowflake components, including roles, warehouses, access, and monitoring. Ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable platform operations.
• Integration & Collaboration: Enable seamless integration between Snowflake and BI tools, applications, and other data systems. Partner with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure data availability for reporting and decision-making.
• Governance & Optimisation: Establish data governance including standards for data modelling, access control, ingestion processes, and platform performance. Proactively optimise pipelines for reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  
  

• Mandatory: 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience designing and managing data pipelines, transformations, and models.
• Mandatory: Strong ETL skills with experience designing pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources, including ERP systems (Infor, finance apps), HRIS, Excel, APIs, and custom applications.
• Platform, Data Modelling & Integration Expertise: Solid understanding of Snowflake administration (roles, warehouses, access, monitoring), data modelling, ETL processes, and database design for structured and semi-structured data, with experience integrating Snowflake with BI tools, applications, and other downstream systems.
• Analytical & Ownership Mindset: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to take ownership of the platform and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to speak to all levels of management.
