Compliance Specialist - US Tax (US Financial Advisory, WFH)

Salary: P70,000 - P85,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday (2:00 AM to 11:00 AM PHT)

What are we looking for?

Position Summary

Compliance Specialist ensures that work delegated by Tax Supervisor is completed accurately

and timely. Professional communication with clients regarding compliance and tax matters.

Communicate timely completion of work to Managers. Identify and propose time sensitive

solutions to relieve barriers for clients and our firm.

Skills Required

• 3-5+ years SOS filings, sales tax filing, and CDTFA reporting experience
• Some knowledge of tax laws, regulations and deadlines
• Some knowledge of accounting and tax in cannabis industry
• Solution-oriented; problem-solver.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Great organization and time management skills
• High level attention to detail. Excel intermediate
  
  

What will you do?

• Process tax payments on behalf of clients
• Compliance responsibilities include: Entity formation, dissolutions and maintenance, change of entity type, SOS filings, and any other compliance work as needed.
• Compliance tax filings. Filing of sales tax and cannabis excise with CDTFA reporting. Setting up CDTFA access for Clients. Local tax filings as needed. Thorough work paper documentation for each filing.
• Communication with taxing agencies on clients behalf.
• Client education with regards to state and local tax compliance
• Any other administrative, compliance, or tax work as required by firm or managers.
