CAD Designer And QA Specialist US Telecommunications WFH

What are we looking for?

Skills Required

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience using AutoCAD in a telecom, utility, civil, or construction drafting environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (telecom / utility / civil / construction drafting environment preferred).
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) for redlines, markups, commenting, and document control.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong "eye" for catching errors and inconsistencies.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple drawing sets, revisions, and deadlines without losing accuracy.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Willingness to learn: adaptable, coachable, and committed to continuous improvement and standards compliance.
• Proficiency in Excel for revision tracking and QA processes.
  
  

What will you do?

• Create and update construction drawing (CD) sets using AutoCAD for telecom projects.
• Conduct QA checks to ensure drawing accuracy, completeness, and consistency with client and jurisdictional standards.
• Identify discrepancies, omissions, and conflicts (notes, layers, callouts, symbology, sheet references, quantities, etc.) and coordinate corrections.
• Redline and correct drawings based on internal reviews and external feedback using Adobe Acrobat (PDF) and established workflows.
• Maintain organized tracking of revisions, QA checklists, and project documentation using Excel and internal tools.
• Communicate professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve design issues efficiently and support on-time deliverables.
