Lead Financial Closing and Reporting: Drive accurate and timely month/quarter-end closing processes, including journal entries, and preparing and presenting key financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet).
Oversee Project Controlling & Costing: Manage product costing and financial analysis for assigned projects or business entities, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) like sales and profitability.
Manage Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and update annual budgets and financial forecasts (e.g., Cash Flow), tracking progress against targets to optimize resource allocation.
Coordinate Logistics and Fulfillment: Manage and monitor core operational tasks related to the sales fulfillment cycle, including order execution, delivery coordination, and related documentation for shipments.
Ensure Compliance and Transaction Integrity: Execute key SAP transactions for order management, billing, and payment collection, ensuring strict compliance with internal and local accounting guidelines.
Coordinate Stakeholders and Drive Optimization: Act as the primary financial interface, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners while proactively supporting cost reduction measures and financial risk management.
Your Defining Qualities:
Relevant Academic Background: Possess a Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related commercial field.
Controlling and Reporting Experience: Have 3–5 years of proven professional experience focusing on financial controlling, reporting, and managing the full month-end closing cycle.
Industry & Functional Knowledge: Experience in the rail/mobility sector or other large-scale project-based environments is highly advantageous, with an understanding of management accounting principles.
Proficiency with SAP & Analytics: Strong, precise working knowledge of SAP for transactions and reporting; proven ability to use advanced Excel features (Pivot Tables); experience with Power BI is a plus.
Core Analytical Competencies: Demonstrated strong analytical skills for variance and KPI analysis, along with effective communication skills suitable for business partnering.
Agile and Proactive Mindset: Highly proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently to meet tight deadlines in a complex, fast-paced global business setting.
