Bar Manager Manila

Our partner is a highly-regarded, international restaurant group known for pioneering restaurant concepts that showcase diverse food cultures and traditions across generations. Their restaurants are enticing, energetic, and unpretentious, qualities which are reflected in the restaurants’ design and food and drink offerings. Having built a big following in Hong Kong and Paris, they have recently expanded to Manila with a vibrant and popular restaurant inside an esteemed luxury hotel.

We are now seeking a Bar Manager to drive the restaurants bar programme and operations, leading a team to uphold high standards of service and hospitality consistently.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and executing a creative, relevant, and profitable bar programme;
• Leading and managing an international team, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual respect;
• Overseeing all aspects of the bar operations, ensuring high quality of service and cost-effective management of resources;
• Implementing policies, protocols, and best practices to ensure seamless operations;
• Regularly reviewing performance data, including financials, sales, activity reports, to monitor and measure productivity and goal progress;
• Driving the business to maximise profitability and efficiency;
• Delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring absolute guest satisfaction.
  
  
  

We seek candidates with:

• 5+ years of experience in the F&B industry, ideally with experience in high-volume, upscale venues;
• 3+ years of bar management experience in upscale, reputable restaurants;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the charm and charisma to build instant rapport with guests;
• Solid understanding of market dynamics, customer preferences with a customer-first mindset
• Strong communication and leadership skills, high level of EQ and the ability to build and cultivate high-performing bar teams;
• Proven track record of creating, maintaining, and managing inventory systems;
• Experience working in major cities with international experience being a plus!
