Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (6am to 3pm PHT)

What Were Looking For Must Have Skills

• At least 5 years of relevant experience with strong understanding of Azure core services (compute, storage, networking, identities) and cloud architecture patterns.
• Experience with automation and IaC (PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM/Bicep, Terraform).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices (version control, CI/CD, monitoring, incident management).
• Familiarity with security, networking, and governance in Azure (AAD, RBAC, Policies, firewalls, SIEM).
• Usually a degree in IT/computer science or equivalent experience, plus relevant Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) are preferred.
  
  

What Youll Do

An Azure cloud engineer designs, builds, and operates solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring that cloud environments are secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective. They typically work closely with developers, security, and operations teams to support cloud migration, application hosting, and ongoing platform operations.

Core purpose of the role

• Design and implement Azure infrastructure (compute, storage, networking) that meets business and technical requirements.
• Maintain and monitor Azure environments to ensure performance, availability, and security.
  
  

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, and deploy Azure resources such as virtual machines, App Services, containers, databases, and storage accounts.
• Configure and manage virtual networks, subnets, VPNs, load balancers, and network security groups for secure connectivity.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform, plus scripting with PowerShell or Azure CLI.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (often using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
• Monitor resources, tune performance, and optimize costs using Azure Monitor, alerts, logging, and right-sizing practices.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies for critical workloads.
• Enforce security and compliance using Azure AD/RBAC, Key Vault, policies, and security best practices.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and provide on-call or escalation support as needed.
• Document architectures, configurations, and procedures, and contribute to standards and best practices.
