Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to manage end-to-end editing of wedding content. The role involves editing full-length wedding films, multi-camera footage, and short-form highlights, ensuring emotional storytelling and high production quality. You will work with ceremony audio syncing, drone footage, and social media clips, while maintaining brand consistency through music selection, colour correction, and pacing. This role requires both technical precision and a strong creative eye, with the ability to deliver polished outputs under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Chronological edit of full wedding day footage (~90 minutes): morning prep, ceremony (synced to audio), reception including setup, formalities, speeches, and dances
• Multi-camera editing across 2-3 cameras plus drone footage
• Creative short-form editing: wedding highlights and stories (6-8 minutes), extracting key emotional moments such as vows, speeches, dances, candid scenes
• Social media content editing: reels, clips, and bite-sized cuts from iPhone footage captured at events
• Music selection and audio sync aligned with your brand style
• Footage cleanup and colour correction to brand standard
• File management and export via Dropbox, using the XML workflow for efficient review and feedback
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong across both technical and creative editing skills. Meticulous in structure, expressive in storytelling
• Primary software: Final Cut Pro (experience with other video editing software will be considered if the candidate is willing to be trained to learn Final Cut Pro)
• Experience with multi-camera and drone footage integration
• A genuine eye for rhythm, pacing, and emotional storytelling
• Experience with social media formats (Reels, short-form cuts) a strong advantage
• Understanding of the wedding industry and the emotional weight of the deliverable
• Comfortable working to deadlines and handling quick turnarounds independently
  
  

*Important Note: You must have your own Apple Mac computer with Final Cut Pro X installed.
