Your Task:


  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Health & Safety Management System.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety laws, regulations, and corporate standards.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards and risks through risk assessments and safety initiatives.
  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, and performance reviews across business operations.
  • Lead incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Manage H&S reporting systems and ensure timely submission of safety reports.
  • Design and deliver H&S training, awareness programs, and safety communications.
  • Monitor H&S performance indicators, analyze trends, and recommend improvement actions.
  • Lead and maintain ISO 45001 certification and other safety compliance requirements.
  • Develop and coordinate emergency preparedness, crisis management, and business continuity plans.
  • Collaborate with management, engineering teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure safe work processes and equipment.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, emergency services, and external stakeholders on safety matters.
  • Support business leaders in establishing H&S objectives, KPIs, and safety improvement programs.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and provide coaching to managers and employees on safety responsibilities.
  • Prevent workplace fatalities, injuries, occupational illnesses, and property damage.
  • Ensure regulatory and corporate compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in workplace safety performance.
  • Establish a safe working environment for employees, contractors, visitors, and customers.
  • Strengthen organizational awareness and commitment to health and safety.


What you bring?


  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
  • Professional Health & Safety certifications are an advantage (e.g., ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Health & Safety Management, with proven experience leading and maintaining Health & Safety Management Systems.
  • Experience in occupational health and safety programs, risk assessment, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in managing compliance requirements, regulatory reviews, permits, reporting, and record-keeping.
  • Experience conducting workplace audits, inspections, and safety training programs.
  • Experience leading H&S certification initiatives such as ISO 45001 is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislation, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, training, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to influence and drive change across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of technical reports and delivery of presentations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with operational, facility, corporate, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in H&S reporting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
