Supervise shift production while ensuring materials, inventory, and workflows move seamlessly and efficiently. Take ownership of SAP system used for materials management (MM) and production planning (PP) modules. Direct store and Kanban operations to drive real-time material flow, support production targets, and sustain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
SAP System Control: Operate and oversee SAP MM and PP modules on all production-related transactions—materials receipt, consumption, transfers, and stock adjustments. Troubleshoot and train team in SAP best practices.
Material Flow & Kanban Supervision: Lead and maintain Kanban systems; ensure materials are moved on time to production lines. Optimize material replenishment cycles and avoid bottlenecks.
Store & Inventory Oversight: Supervise stores team in receiving, storing, and issuing materials. Maintain accurate records, conduct regular cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies in SAP.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with production, engineering and warehouse teams to solve material availability issues and keep production on track.
Shift Leadership: Manage and motivate shift personnel, ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures, and deliver team training in material handling and SAP usage.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive process improvements in material flow and SAP accuracy. Champion lean methodologies in all store and production support processes.
Reporting & Analysis: Generate shift reports, inventory records, and SAP dashboards. Use data to highlight risks, shortages, and improvement opportunities for management.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years’ experience in production supervision and materials management in a manufacturing environment.
Advanced SAP user skills, especially MM & PP modules.
Direct experience running Kanban systems and optimizing material flow.
Strong troubleshooting skills with digital production or supply chain systems.
Leadership experience in a shift or team-based environment.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement is desirable.
