Operations Coordinator

At 2GO Group, you will help ensure the safe, efficient, and seamless execution of vessel operations that keep people and cargo moving across the country. In this role, you will support the Operations Supervisor in overseeing daily vessel operations while ensuring adherence to the Operations 2P’s and established operational standards.

Your contribution will be essential in maintaining smooth port and vessel activities, supporting operational excellence, and delivering reliable service to our customers. Through close coordination with internal teams and operational stakeholders, you will help drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across maritime operations.

What You’ll Do..

• Monitor and ensure vessel operations meet planned productivity and completion timelines.
• Coordinate with Port Operator to clear discharging areas.
• Report to Vessel Operations Supervisor about abnormalities in operations causing slow down.
• Coordinate to Control Center for request of Extra Service (Reworks, Tire man, Batteryman, etc) from Port Operator or Motor Pool in situations needed.
• Coordinate to Control Center regarding unmanifested containers.
• Provide hourly updates regarding operation’s status to the operations team
• Facilitate in Unloading and Loading of Rolling Cargoes/Motorcycles from Vessel to shipside
• Draft manual incident reports when Supervisor is not present and getting it validated by Vessel Operations Supervisor once he is available.
• Coordinate with Vessel Operations Supervisor and Vessel Officers of possible shifting of cargoes with the wrong port of destination.
• Facilitate loading of rolling cargo from shipside to vessel.
• Tagging of vessel actual time of departure thru VOYCES in Freight System shall be done after CTS Recapper finishes recapping cargo loading manifest.
• Accomplishment the Operations Report Forms and submitting it to Control Center.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions in real time.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
