We are looking for a highly motivated IT Systems Engineer to join our global IT team. In this role, you’ll focus on engineering IT solutions, managing internal systems, and providing support across Level 1 and Level 2 help desk requests. You’ll also play a key role in automating internal processes, supporting cloud-based applications, and enhancing our security posture. This role requires you to work during US business hours, Monday through Friday.
What would you do, if hired?
Operational Support
- Manage and resolve Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 IT tickets across the US, EMEA, and APAC regions, ensuring timely and effective technical support.
- Provide high-quality remote IT assistance, maintaining consistent service standards for distributed employees.
- Monitor and respond promptly to IT tickets, email inquiries, and support calls while meeting established service level expectations.
- Escalate complex or high-impact technical issues to senior IT leadership or external vendors to ensure swift resolution and minimal business disruption.
- Design and implement scalable IT solutions, including enterprise SSO expansion and automated onboarding and offboarding workflows.
- Oversee and maintain corporate IT infrastructure, enforcing strong security and compliance practices.
- Administer and support core business applications, including JIRA (JSM), JAMF, Intune, Zoom, Slack, Asana, LastPass, and Scribe, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Lead and contribute to system migrations, application deployments, and broader technology modernization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain internal documentation and user-facing knowledge base content to support effective IT operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventories, including laptops, monitors, peripherals, and related equipment.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes through secure provisioning, device configuration, and deprovisioning.
- Remotely maintain and troubleshoot office infrastructure, including WiFi, network devices, printers, and conference room AV systems.
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment installations, repairs, replacements, and specialized service requests.
- Deliver high-quality, discreet, and white-glove IT support to executives and senior leadership, ensuring a seamless and reliable technology experience.
Systems and Equipment
- Support routine system updates, security patches, and backup processes to maintain platform stability and data integrity.
- Document, refine, and standardize IT processes and operating procedures to improve consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
- Administer user access and permissions across key SaaS platforms, including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Jira, and LastPass.
- Help maintain and enforce security controls such as MFA, endpoint compliance, encryption policies, and related protective configurations.
Security and Compliance
- Follow Celigo’s IT security standards when managing devices, credentials, and sensitive systems to ensure consistent enforcement of organizational controls.
- Support compliance initiatives, including device inventory accuracy, periodic access reviews, and audit readiness activities.
- Promote security best practices across the organization to strengthen awareness and reinforce a culture of proactive, secure IT behavior.
Documentation and Knowledge Base
- Ensure internal and customer facing knowledge base content remains accurate, comprehensive, and optimized for usability and self service.
- Identify and remove outdated materials while improving structure, layout, and taxonomy to enhance discoverability and navigation.
- Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to ensure documentation reflects current policies, workflows, and system changes.
- Develop and enhance troubleshooting guides, technical documentation, and IT support articles to accelerate issue resolution and improve user autonomy.

Education & Experience
- Associate degree or vocational training in IT, or equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, and Jira JSM.
- Proficient with Windows and macOS environments.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Advanced knowledge of content and knowledge management systems such as Confluence.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Preferred certifications include Jira (JSM), CompTIA A+, Google IT Support, Intune, JAMF, or similar credentials.
- Previous experience supporting executives or working in a fast-paced SaaS environment is preferred.
