Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D assets including characters, environments, props, icons, and UI elements.
• Develop concept art, storyboards, and mood boards to communicate ideas and set visual direction.
• Collaborate with game designers, developers, and animators to ensure cohesive art integration.
• Adapt and iterate on assets based on feedback while maintaining consistency in style and quality.
• Work within established brand/style guidelines, while contributing fresh ideas and improvements.
• Optimize assets for performance without compromising quality (important for games and mobile).
• Stay updated on art trends, tools, and techniques relevant to 2D art and design.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong portfolio showcasing 2D art skills across a range of styles (e.g., character design, environments, UI).
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Clip Studio Paint, or similar.
• Solid understanding of color theory, composition, lighting, and perspective.
• Experience with animation tools (e.g., Spine, After Effects, or Unitys 2D tools) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for games, art, and storytelling.

Preferred

• Knowledge of 2D animation, VFX, and motion graphics.
• Experience creating assets for mobile or casual games.
• Familiarity with Unity or other game engines.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles for interactive design.
