General Job Responsibilities
Tellers working for Community Bank are our first line interface with our customers and as such are required to demonstrate a high level of customer service and customer interaction. Tellers will handle customer required banking needs including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, money orders, account inquiries, and other related services. Tellers must ensure security of customer information and follow bank protocols for security. Tellers may serve customers at teller windows inside the bank, at the drive-thru, and on the telephone. A pleasant customer service attitude is essential as well as willingness to be a team player. All Tellers will be required to read and understand all relevant laws, policies, and procedures related to their job duties. Tellers report to the Head Teller.
Education and Experience
Education
Graduation from high school or equivalent GED required, some college or post graduate technical training preferred.
Experience
Some work experience in an area requiring customer service skills is preferred.
