Job Description

Monitor the real-time performance of solar PV and BES systems through SCADA, remote monitoring platform, and onsite inspections.
Track energy generation, system availability, and performance ratios against benchmarks.
Identify underperforming components or systems and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain system documentation, logs, and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly performance.
Perform other related jobs/duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules for PV modules, inverters, transformers, switchgears, and other system components.
Respond promptly to faults, alarms, and breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
Coordinate repair or replacement of damaged components with vendors or subcontractors.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance work, energy generation, and equipment downtime.
Generate and submit performance reports, incident reports, and maintenance logs to management and clients.
Be on-call for urgent troubleshooting and emergency situations (e.g., fire, flooding, electrical failure).
Lead a team of technicians during PMS activities.
Perform other related jobs/duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering; Registered Electrical Engineer.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the renewable energy industry, with a focus on solar energy operation and maintenance.
Familiarity with PV/BESS/DG systems operation; actual experience is a plus.
Technical expertise in solar energy and battery systems and technologies.
Familiarity with environmental and safety standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
Preferably residing near the project location: Mabini, Davao de Oro.
