The Corporate Travel Specialist role involves coordinating and managing all aspects of business travel to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies. This includes booking flights, hotels, and transportation while securing the best rates, creating detailed travel itineraries, and providing ongoing support to employees before and during their trips. The role also requires staying informed on travel industry trends and regulations, managing travel budgets, and ensuring all bookings adhere to corporate travel policies and duty of care standards. The specialist will act as a key point of contact for travelers, offering assistance with changes, emergencies, and inquiries, while providing both office-hours and after-hours service as needed.


About the Job:

  • Remote (Preferrably within Cebu for equipment shipment)
  • Device will be provided by the company but ISP to be shouldered by the employee (at least 50 mbps)
  • Full-time job; following US hours (9:00 PM- 6:00 AM local)

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure traveler safety and support during emergencies or disruptions
  • Stay current with travel industry trends, technologies, and regulations
  • Booking travel: Making all necessary reservations for flights, hotels, and rental cars, while adhering to corporate policies and negotiated rates.
  • Itinerary management: Creating detailed itineraries that include all transportation, lodging, and activities, and providing relevant information like customs and visa requirements.
  • Budget and cost management: Working with budgets and seeking the best rates to ensure business travel is cost-effective and compliant with corporate travel policies.
  • Client support: Acting as a point of contact for employees to assist with booking changes, address travel problems or emergencies, and answer questions.
  • Policy and compliance: Ensuring all travel aligns with the company’s travel policy, including duty of care responsibilities and other regulations.
  • Split afterhours and office hours service.


Required Qualifications


1. Travel Industry Experience

  • Must have corporate travel consulting background
  • NOT airline support, NOT airline sales, NOT general CSR roles
  • Must have handled full itinerary management (flights, hotels, cars, visa info, policies)


2. GDS Proficiency

  • Sabre GDS proficiency is required (2+ years preferred)
  • Amadeus or Worldspan is a plus but cannot replace Sabre
  • Ability to book, modify, cancel reservations within a corporate travel environment


3. Travel Management Responsibilities

Candidates must show experience in at least 4 of the following:


  • End-to-end business travel arrangements
  • Duty-of-care responsibilities
  • Handling travel disruptions / emergencies
  • Client-facing experience for itinerary changes
  • Understanding of fare rules & policies
  • Budget-conscious booking aligned with corporate travel guidelines


4. Tools

  • Experience with Concur, SAP Travel, or equivalent travel management platforms is highly preferred
  • CRM familiarity for traveler profiles


5. Soft Skills

  • Strong communication
  • Able to handle high-pressure travel disruptions
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to support after-hours needs if required


Preferred Skills

  • Certification in travel management (e.g., GBTA’s Global Travel Professional)
  • Experience with international travel logistics and visa requirements
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices in corporate travel
  • 2 years with Sabre or similar GDS experiance
