AI & Automation Solutions Developer

Location: Portugal / Poland / Costa Rica

Reports to: Product Owner / Chief Architect

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Solutions Developer to join our Product team responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting cloud-based Contact Center and AI solutions built on Amazon Connect and AWS.

This role is ideal for an early-career engineer who enjoys problem-solving, software development, cloud technologies, and Artificial Intelligence. You will work alongside senior engineers, solution architects, and product owners to deliver innovative customer-facing capabilities including AI Agents, conversational AI, automation, voice translation, analytics, and core system integrations.

The Role Is Approximately

• 70% Solution Development, Testing & Implementation
• 15% Operational Support
• 10% Solution Design & Technical Learning
• 5% Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration
  
  

Key Responsibilities

Solution Development

• Develop, test, implement and support solutions built on AWS and other Cloud technologies.
• Build integrations between contact center platforms, AI services, ITSM tools, and enterprise applications.
• Assist in the delivery of AI-powered capabilities including AI Agents, Agent Assist, RAG solutions, translation services and workflow automation.
• Troubleshoot defects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow engineering standards, coding best practices, and security guidelines.
  
  

AI & Innovation

• Support the development and testing of Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions.
• Assist with prompt engineering, knowledge bases, AI orchestration, and conversational AI use cases.
• Contribute to experimentation, prototyping, and evaluation of new AI capabilities.
  
  

Testing & Support

• Create and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Support deployment, release, and operational activities.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving production issues.
• Contribute to technical documentation and support materials.
  
  

Collaboration & Learning

• Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, BAU specialists and Service desk operational teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demonstrations.
• Continuously develop technical expertise in AWS, AI technologies, and software engineering practices.
  
  

Qualification, Skills & Experience

Experience, academic exposure, or strong interest in the following:

• AI & LLM Technologies: Generative AI, AI Agents, OpenAI APIs, Amazon Bedrock, Prompt Engineering.
• Software Development: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, REST APIs, JSON, API integrations.
• Frontend Development: React, Redux Toolkit (RTK), TypeScript, Micro-frontends, Accessibility (A11y).
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS (Amazon Connect, Lambda, S3, Redshift, CloudFormation, CDK), Git, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code.
• Professional Skills: Problem solving, technical troubleshooting and debugging skills, stakeholder engagement, technical communication, Agile delivery, teamwork, and continuous learning.
• Certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AI Practitioner or Developer – Associate or Solutions Architect – Associate; Agile Fundamentals.
