Job Description

We are seeking a commercially minded Account Manager to join our Thermal Comfort Systems (TCS) team in Plzeň. This is a first-level sales/account management role, operating as an individual contributor within a small, international team.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day commercial activities across the Thermal Comfort Systems (TCS) business as an individual contributor within a small, agile team.

  • Lead negotiation and closure of commercial agreements (customer & supplier-facing where relevant)
  • Act as the key interface between plant operations and external customers
  • Support new business pursuits and RFQ activities within TCS
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders
  • Own assigned sales accounts and contribute to program P&L performance
  • Drive margin improvement and cost recovery actions
  • Negotiate and manage engineering change requests
  • Maintain internal reporting (LRP, APR, plant improvement plans, ProFile, etc.)
  • Support PAR/PFA approvals and internal governance processes
  • Contribute to excess and obsolete material handling
  • Manage commercial aspects of supply or capacity constraints

Education Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or similar field

Experience Requirements

Must Have

  • Automotive experience (or similar manufacturing industries such as rail or aerospace)
  • Proven commercial exposure (sales, account management, or purchasing)
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiations (customer and/or supplier-facing)
  • Strong business acumen and willingness to build product and industry knowledge
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Nice To Have

  • Experience in automotive interiors, seating, or related components
  • Exposure to program financials / P&L
  • Experience working in cross-functional, international teams
