Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. We are looking for a Technical Account Manager to drive the delivery of our partner onboarding and integration for the Amazon Leo Consumer business across the Asia Pacific and Japan. As one of our key team members, you will be responsible for managing stakeholders, technical deep dives and project planning.

The successful candidate will be both entrepreneurial and highly analytical, able to work effectively in a matrixed organization and be adept at understanding fixed broadband businesses. We are looking for someone customer obsessed and technologically savvy with a proven track record of leading new initiatives, especially in consumer related products and services using distribution channels.

This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage stakeholders to understand their schedule, cost, functionality and quality requirements, ensuring clear documentation and communication amongst internal and external customers.
• Review technical documentation, understanding integration APIs and developing KPIs.
• Implement training and on-boarding programs.
• Lead and manage technical deep dives with internal and external partners to drive complex integration programs in preparation for launch.
• Work with business and technical leaders to define and track business and operational success metrics for key programs.
• Maintain and communicate project schedules, collecting, analysing and reporting metrics that reflects progress against planned goals and deliverables.
• Ensure that schedule changes are tracked and communicated efficiently to the right people at the right cadence.
• Lead post-integration retrospectives with lessons-learned, incorporate improvements into our development processes.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion experience
• 2+ years of customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies experience
• Bachelors degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business or equivalent
• Experience leading technical and non-technical transformation project teams with a proven ability to work across broad functional teams
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification, or SCRUM/Agile, SAFe certification
• Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or similar
