We are partnering with a well-established and recognised retail business based in Melbourne’s inner suburbs. Known for its strong brand presence and fast-paced environment, the business is continuing to grow and is seeking support within its finance team.

About The Role

This is an initial 3-month contract with a genuine view to permanency, suited to a hands-on Financial Accountant who can hit the ground running. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Month-end close including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
• Preparation of management reports and variance analysis
• Support with audit, compliance, and process improvements
  
  

• CA/CPA qualified
• Prior experience in financial accounting, ideally within retail or an adjacent industry
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines
