About The Role
Join a role where kindness, connection and care truly matter. Were seeking caring Environmental Service Workers to join our friendly team at Fair Haven Aged Care in Maryborough, helping to create a clean, safe and welcoming environment where residents feel at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning resident rooms and communal areas
- Laundry duties (washing, drying, folding and distribution)
- Assisting in the kitchen with meal preparation and service
- Supporting dining room setup and pack down
- Following infection control and safety procedures
- Work closely with the team to keep things running smoothly
- Reliable, positive and team-orientated
- Experience in cleaning, hospitality or similar (aged care desirable)
- Good communication skills
- Able to work across different tasks and priorities
- Previous experience in cleaning, laundry, hospitality, or kitchen hand roles (aged care experience is desirable)
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Outlook, internet use)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage competing priorities
- Hold valid Australian work rights (sponsorship not available)
- National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
- Certificate III in Cookery or similar qualification. If you are currently studying, you can still apply!
