Research And Development Associate

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in new product and development, materials and process improvements.
  

• Support the creation and development of formulations, and prototypes for new products.
  

• Assist in setting up specifications for raw materials used
  

• Assists in product certification activities to ensure consistency and quality
  

• Evaluate the compatibility of existing equipment, packaging, and the product parameters
  

• Evaluate raw and packaging materials based on safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
  

• Conduct sensory evaluations and prepare technical documentation
  

• Manage standardization requirements for raw materials and packaging
  

• Organize product testing to ensure taste superiority and quality (sensory, nutritional, microbiological and physicochemical test)
  
  

• Support product improvement initiatives to enhance quality customer acceptance, process efficiency and cost effectiveness through product trials
  

• Analyze data and provide recommendations on trials, equipment, and production process.
  
  

• Create and maintain accurate documentation for formulation, manufacturing process, packaging , products, and raw material standards
  

• Track and document revision histories for all product changes
  
  
  
  

Job Qualification and Skills:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in BS Food Technology, Food Science or any related field
  

• Professional Food Technologist license is an advantage but not required
  
  

• Detail-oriented in evaluating taste, consistency, creative, and eager to learn
  

• Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills
  

• Knowledge in regulatory and food safety standards is a plus
  

• Passionate about food and food preparation
  

• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Odoo software , Inventory Management system.
  
  

• Must be amenable to be assigned in Loma de Gato, Marilao
