Job Description

Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a multinational tech company in their search for a Technical Delivery Manager based anywhere in the Philippines to work in a fully remote set up.

Salary Range: Open Salary

Work Setup: WFH

Shift Schedule: Night Shift

Location: Philippines

The Role

We are a fast-moving SaaS company looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to sit at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and Support. This is a critical delivery and process leadership role — not a coding role — but you must think like a developer, communicate like a project manager, and operate like someone who gets things done.

You will serve as the primary layer between our engineering teams and senior technology leadership, owning the day-to-day health of our development lifecycle. You will be responsible for ensuring stories are well-defined before development begins, sprint ceremonies are run efficiently, teams are protected from scope creep and mid-sprint

interruptions, and that AI-assisted development practices and quality standards are upheld across all teams.

This role reports directly to the SVP of Engineering and is expected to be a force multiplier — freeing up senior leadership from reactive Jira management and status chasing so they can focus on strategy, architecture, and roadmap.

Your Responsibilities

  • Delivery Management
    • Manage and monitor multiple Jira projects and boards simultaneously, ensuring accuracy, hygiene, and visibility across all active initiatives
    • Run and facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions
    • Track sprint velocity, identify blockers early, and escalate risks before they become problems
    • Provide daily/weekly status summaries to senior leadership — ensuring it is clear, concise, and actionable
    • Own sprint reporting and delivery metrics
  • Story Definition & Refinement
    • Partner closely with Product Managers to ensure user stories are fully defined, acceptance criteria are clear, and edge cases are documented before a story is assigned to a developer
    • Challenge incomplete or ambiguous stories — do not let under-defined work enter a sprint
    • Develop and enforce story templates and definition-of-ready (DoR) standards across all teams
    • Reduce back-and-forth between engineers and Product by acting as the translation layer between business intent and technical execution
  • Team Protection & Process Guardrails
    • Establish and enforce clear protocols to prevent mid-sprint scope changes, ad hoc
    • Support requests, and unsanctioned work from derailing engineering teams
    • Act as the first line of communication for Product and Support inquiries that come in during active sprint — triage, document, and route appropriately
    • Own the intake process for new requests and ensure proper prioritization before anything touches the engineering backlog
  • Quality & AI Tooling
    • Champion the adoption of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) across engineering teams — identify gaps in adoption and drive consistent usage
    • Ensure engineering teams are delivering production-grade code by holding teams accountable to unit test coverage requirements, QA use case documentation, andcode review standards
    • Work with QA to ensure test cases are written and reviewed as part of the story lifecycle, not as an afterthought
    • Stay current on AI tools and delivery best practices — bring recommendations to leadership proactively
What Were Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical project management, scrum master, or delivery management role within a software/SaaS company
  • Proven experience managing multiple Jira boards and projects simultaneously — including workflow configuration, not just ticket creation
  • Demonstrated ability to write, refine, and enforce user story standards in collaboration with Product teams
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Experience working cross-functionally across Engineering, Product, QA, and Support teams
  • Comfortable working asynchronously and in overlap with US-based stakeholdersBackground that started in software development, QA, or business analysis before moving into delivery/program management
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT for dev workflows, etc.)
  • Experience in a startup or scale-up environment where processes were built, not just followed
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) is a plus but not required
