The Inventory Specialist – OJT will assist the Inventory team in monitoring stock levels, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting inventory control activities. The trainee will gain hands-on experience in inventory tracking, system recording using the Vault Inventory Application, and coordination with warehouse and logistics teams, under close supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Controlling and Monitoring
Assist in monitoring raw materials (RM), packaging materials (PM), and finished goods (FG) inventory levels.
Support regular inventory checks, reconciliations, and stock validations.
Help identify inventory discrepancies such as shortages, overages, or mismatches efficiency.
Recording and Documentation
Assist in encoding inventory transactions in the Vault Inventory Application, under supervision.
Support the review and maintenance of inventory records for accuracy and completeness.
Assist in organizing and filing inventory-related documents such as:
Inventory reports
Receiving records
Transfer and adjustment documents
Warehouse Coordination
Coordinate with warehouse personnel regarding:
Stock availability
Location updates
Put-away and storage activities
Assist in verifying item codes, descriptions, and quantities during inventory movements.
Reporting & Compliance
Help prepare basic inventory reports such as:
Stock balances
Aging reports
Slow-moving or near-expiry items
Support data gathering for audits and internal reviews
Participate in internal and external audits as needed.
Communicate inventory concerns and improvement recommendations to management.
Qualification And Requirements
Required:
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a course related to:
Inventory Management
Supply Chain Management
Business Administration
Industrial Engineering
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Willingness to learn inventory systems and warehouse operations.
Detail-oriented and organized.
TRAINING DEVELOPMENT
Hands-on training in the Vault Inventory Application.
Exposure to inventory management best practices.
Guidance from Inventory Specialists and Supervisors.
