Job Title: Head of Security

Reports To: Facilities & Administration Manager

Job Summary

The Head of Security is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization's overall security strategy to ensure the protection of employees, company assets, manufacturing operations, warehouses, offices, and critical business information across all Dermorepubliq facilities. The role is accountable for developing and implementing comprehensive security programs, policies, and procedures that safeguard the company's people, property, intellectual property, raw materials, finished goods, and supply chain while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS), and other regulatory requirements. The Head of Security leads physical security operations, security risk management, incident investigations, crisis and emergency response, security technology, and vendor management, while working closely with Operations, Facilities, Human Resources, Legal, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to foster a safe, secure, and resilient business environment that supports the company's manufacturing and trading operations.

Key Responsibilities

Security Operations & Physical Security

  • Manage security operations across all facilities (manufacturing plant, warehouse, offices, laboratories).
  • Develop and implement security policies and SOPs.
  • Ensure effective deployment and supervision of security personnel and agencies.
  • Oversee access control, visitor management, CCTV monitoring, and perimeter security


Manufacturing & Warehouse Security

  • Protect raw materials, production areas, laboratories, finished goods, and warehouses.
  • Prevent theft, pilferage, product tampering, and unauthorized access.
  • Secure manufacturing records, formulations, and confidential information.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound logistics to safeguard company assets.


Investigations & Incident Management

  • Lead investigations involving theft, fraud, vandalism, sabotage, workplace violence, and policy violations.
  • Coordinate with HR, Legal, Operations, and law enforcement agencies when required.
  • Prepare investigation reports with findings, root cause analysis, and corrective actions


Emergency Preparedness & Business Continuity

  • Develop and maintain emergency response and crisis management plans.
  • Lead emergency drills and coordinate with local emergency responders.
  • Ensure readiness for fire, natural disasters, and other security incidents.


Security Technology & Vendor Management

  • Manage CCTV, access control systems, alarm systems, and other security technologies.
  • Oversee contracts and performance of security agencies and security system vendors.
  • Recommend and implement technology improvements to enhance facility security.


Leadership & Reporting

  • Develop security strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage security budgets and resource planning.
  • Present monthly security performance reports, incident trends, and risk assessments to Executive Management


Qualification And Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminology, Security Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. (Preferred)


Experience

  • At least 5–10 years of experience in corporate or manufacturing security.
  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or warehousing is highly preferred.


Certifications (Preferred)

  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
  • Physical Security Professional (PSP)
  • Certified Security Professional (CSP)

  • Based primarily at the manufacturing facility and Warehouse with regular visits to corporate offices, and project sites.
  • May require after-hours response to emergencies, security incidents, or executive requests.
  • Regular participation in audits, inspections, emergency drills, and cross-functional operational meetings
