The Senior Specialist, Internal Communications plays a key role in supporting Ryans enterprise-wide internal communications strategy. Reporting to the Manager, Internal Communications and aligned under the Chief of Staff and VP, Business Operations, this role helps craft, coordinate, and deliver clear, consistent, and engaging communications that inform, align, and inspire team members across the firm.
Duties And Responsibilities
Assist in the development and execution of internal communication campaigns that support enterprise initiatives, organizational change, and cultural engagement.
Draft, edit, and format a variety of communications including emails, intranet posts, leadership messages, talking points, FAQs, and slide decks.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (HR/People Group, Marketing, Business Operations, etc.) to ensure communications are timely, accurate, and aligned with Ryans voice and values.
Manage logistics and content coordination for recurring communications such as newsletters, leadership updates, or town halls.
Help maintain content calendars, messaging plans, and communication channels (e.g., intranet, email, digital signage).
Support measurement and reporting on communication effectiveness by collecting feedback and analyzing engagement metrics.
Maintain consistency in tone, style, and branding across all internal channels and ensure accessibility and clarity for a global workforce.
Assist in coordination and execution of live and virtual internal events, including leadership Q&As, culture sessions, or organizational announcements.
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or employee engagement.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for tone and detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with intranet platforms, email campaign tools, and digital content platforms is a plus.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative and resourceful, with a positive attitude and a passion for storytelling and culture-building.
Experience in a professional services or large corporate environment preferred.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Smartsheet, PowerBi, and Internet navigation and research.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Requires limited supervisory responsibilities, including managing project teams, assigning work, checking work for accuracy and completeness, and training employees.
