Your Role

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in month-end close activities and overall financial operations within a dynamic, high-growth SaaS environment. You will partner closely with the business to provide accurate financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

You Will

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries and expense accruals
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations with full supporting documentation
• Manage deferred revenue schedules, sales commission reporting, and software development cost capitalization
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and maintain fixed asset registers
• Support tax compliance requirements (FBT, GST, BAS, PAYG, IAS, payroll tax)
• Manage IFRS 16 lease accounting requirements
• Assist in audit preparation and identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and internal controls
  
  

What You Need

Non-Negotiables

• CPA or Master’s degree qualified
• 3–5 years’ experience in financial accounting, audit, or corporate accounting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  
  

Preferred Skills / Expertise

• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
• Exposure to Australian tax compliance (GST, BAS, FBT) is highly desirable
• Experience in process automation or internal control improvements
