About The Job

The Organization Development (OD) Officer plays a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness of an organization by driving strategic initiatives that improve organizational performance, culture, and employee engagement. This role involves analyzing current organizational practices, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing development programs that align with the company’s goals and values

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops the Banks career management framework with the objective of offering a fulfilling employment to Unibankers, leading to their professional growth and the organizational growth of the Bank
  • Identifies the functional skills per job family and the corresponding proficiency levels across the various levels of the enterprise
  • Develops functional development programs in partnership with L&D to reinforce the functional competencies
  • Supports in developing Core and Leadership skills framework for all positions in the bank.
  • Crafts assessment tools to measure functional proficiency levels
  • Develops other interventions to create a competent and learning-centric workforce
  • Conducts the regular review of related programs, policies, and procedures to ensure relevance, competitiveness, and cost
  • Rationalizes resources (manpower, supplies, budget) in delivery of employee services. Commissions and manages additional internal or external resources as and when required in order to ensure effective and cost-efficient delivery of agreed initiatives
  • Closely coordinates and maintains harmonious relations with colleagues, clients, suppliers, and external agencies
  • Design and implements the bank’s coaching and mentoring program to ensure the collaborative effort between superiors and subordinates in the achievement of goals.

  • Structural Change - Deciding on modifications to the organizational structure to improve efficiency and align with strategic goals
  • Program Implementation - Choosing which development programs and initiatives to implement to enhance employee skills and organizational performance
  • Policy Development - Formulating and revising policies related to organizational development and employee engagement
