Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning efficiently and in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, such as HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, fire protection systems, and other facility-related components.
  • Respond promptly to work order requests and resolve reported issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including filter changes, lubrication, equipment cleaning, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate and supervise third-party contractors/vendors for outsourced repairs and maintenance, ensuring quality and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of equipment repairs, maintenance activities, and other relevant records using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other designated tools.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and facilities to identify potential safety hazards or maintenance needs and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Provide support for emergency situations, including responding to alarms, power outages, leaks, or other critical incidents that may require immediate attention.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in maintenance and repair techniques to enhance technical knowledge and efficiency.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism, customer service, and communication within the team and when interacting with internal stakeholders or tenants.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Multiskilled Technician or similar role, demonstrating competence in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems maintenance and repair.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions across multiple disciplines.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety protocols, and regulations relating to facility maintenance and repair.
  • Proficient in using various tools, equipment, and testing devices to perform maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including weekends, holidays, and be available for on-call duty as required.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces when needed.
  • Valid drivers license and a clean driving record for occasional travel to different sites.
