Parameta Solutions is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group. The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics. Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting.

Role Overview

TP ICAP operates at the heart of the world’s financial, energy, and commodities markets, providing critical infrastructure and insights that enable liquidity and price discovery across global OTC markets.

We are seeking a Market Data Support Engineer to join our Manila-based team within Parameta Solutions. This role is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing real-time market data platforms that underpin client-facing products and internal trading systems.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, availability, and low-latency delivery, working across Linux-based systems and modern data infrastructure (including cloud environments). This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong collaboration with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver a resilient and scalable market data ecosystem.

Role Responsibilities

• Maintain and support real-time market data feeds across internal systems, clients, vendors, and exchanges
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of market data through proactive monitoring and alerting
• Diagnose and resolve data quality, latency, and system performance issues
• Integrate, normalize, and distribute data from multiple internal and third-party market data sources
• Optimise data processing pipelines to achieve high-throughput, low-latency performance
• Implement and enhance monitoring, alerting, and automation frameworks
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of market data infrastructure, including scalability and resilience
• Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning of applications and systems
• Ensure adherence to exchange policies, licensing agreements, and regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Trading, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams
• Provide out-of-hours support, including weekends and public holidays, where required for deployments and incident management
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
  
  

Experience / Competencies

Essential

• Strong experience supporting real-time market data systems within a financial services environment
• Solid understanding of market data feeds, exchange connectivity, and vendor platforms
• Hands-on experience with Linux (Red Hat) environments
• Scripting experience (e.g., Bash, Perl, Tcl) for automation and operational support
• Good knowledge of networking fundamentals (OSI model, TCP/IP, troubleshooting)
• Experience with SQL/databases for data interrogation and issue analysis
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues under pressure
• Strong focus on data integrity, system reliability, and service uptime
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating accountability and ownership
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A proactive, continuous improvement mindset with a strong service orientation

• Experience with market data distribution platforms such as Refinitiv/LSEG (RMDS/RTDS)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and modern data infrastructure
• Familiarity with financial products and markets (FX, Rates, Credit, Equities, Commodities)
• Experience working within a regulated financial institution
• Knowledge of market data terminals (e.g., Bloomberg, Eikon)
• Understanding of real-time data usage within Excel or analytics tools
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
