IntouchCX is looking for a Canadian Payroll Administrator to support our payroll team. The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of Canadian payroll. This role ensures compliance with federal and provincial regulations while providing high-level support to the HR and Finance teams. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-volume environment and maintains a high level of confidentiality.

As Canadian Payroll Administrator, You Will…

  • Process full-cycle bi-weekly payroll for Canadian employees across multiple provinces.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and provincial payroll legislation, including Employment Standards and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) regulations.
  • Calculate and process special payments, including bonuses, commissions, and retroactive pay.
  • Manage and reconcile payroll deductions such as CPP, EI, Income Tax, and RRSP contributions.
  • Prepare and issue Records of Employment (ROEs) accurately and within statutory timelines.
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records and process status changes (new hires, terminations, rate increases).
  • Generate payroll reports for Finance and Management as requested.
  • Assist with internal and external payroll audits.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
  • Collaborate with the Benefits Administrator to ensure accurate benefit deductions and arrears tracking.
  • Manage a high volume of transactions with consistent accuracy and meet strict deadlines.
  • Perform any other projects or requests as required.

As Canadian Payroll Administrator, You Need…

  • A minimum of 3 years of Canadian payroll experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation and provincial employment standards; specific experience with Manitoba provincial regulations is preferred.
  • PCP (Payroll Compliance Professional) designation or progress toward certification is a significant asset.
  • Proficiency in payroll software is required; experience with Dayforce is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential for data reconciliation and reporting.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for internal stakeholder coordination.
  • Ability to work hours that align with North American (NORAM) business time zones.
