Your Role

As an Appraisal Coordinator, you will:

  • Execute and place appraisal orders while managing the end-to-end follow-up process.
  • Communicate proactively with customers, account managers, and homeowners regarding order statuses.
  • Manage vendor relationships with AMCs and title companies to ensure timely report delivery.
  • Update internal queues and databases with meticulous notes to ensure full transparency for the closing team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and successfully bring loan applications to close.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and empathy.
  • Proven self-starter attitude with the ability to take a proactive approach to workload management.
  • High level of adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, early-stage tech environment.
  • Fastidious attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office or Google Sheets, including the use of formulas for efficiency.

Preferred Skills/expertise

  • 2+ years of experience in Banking, Consumer Lending, Operations, or Administrative Support.
  • Previous experience in the Real Estate or Mortgage industry.
  • Knowledge of common credit underwriting standards and asset evaluation.
  • Experience with Appraisal Management Companies (AMCs) or Title companies.
  • A strong interest in consumer fintech and process improvement.
