Overall Purpose of The Job

This role ensures flawless and timely visa support to mobilisation team.

The incumbent is responsible for flawless delivery by Visa CoE team through appointment arrangements for approved crew, digitally providing necessary documents required for visa application for approved crew, making online visa applications where applicable, and ensuring 100% usage of ShipSure in visa support activities

Key Responsibilities And Tasks

• Manages Visa CoE team and ensures SLA and KPIs met
• Acts as subject matter expert for requirements of all visas relevant for seafarers
• Keep close contact with consulates and visa centres
• Maintains standards and procedures for visa process, and ensures that these are followed by team
• Monitors changes in visa application processes for all visas
• Communicate with the Embassies regarding visa requirements of joining crew.
• Ensures close coordination with accounting teams to ensure sufficient funds
• Submits visa-related reimbursements or expenses
• Maintains an updated reference file of visa requirements.
• Coordinates closely with crewing department on visa-related issues or concerns
• Continuously improves visa process

Essential

• Supervisory skills; at least 2 years’ experience in managing a team in a supervisory capacity
• Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
• Good organisational and planning skills
• Proven ability to work to, and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and interact with people at all levels
• Keen attention to details
• Good excel skills
• Total of 5 years’ experience in a crewing or related industry
• University graduate
• Interpersonal Skills
