About Genie Academy

Were a U.S.-based tutoring company helping children build confidence through Abacus Math, Reading, Writing, and Coding. Parents trust us with their kids futures -- and we take that seriously.

Now were looking for a Virtual Customer Service & Success Coordinator to be the friendly, proactive partner who makes sure every family feels supported.

This isnt a script-reading job. This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people.

What Youll Actually Do

Support parents daily:

• Answer calls, emails, and messages with warmth and professionalism
• Handle enrollments, scheduling, reschedules, and account questions
• Resolve concerns quickly -- and calmly when parents are frustrated
  
  

Help Families Succeed

• Reach out proactively at key moments (after assessments, before renewals, when attendance drops)
• Spot families at risk of leaving and step in early with solutions
• Guide parents on how to get the most from Genie Academy
  
  

Reduce Churn

• Use de-escalation skills to rebuild trust with upset parents
• Flag patterns and suggest improvements
• Work with coaches and managers to keep families engaged
  
  

What Success Looks Like

• Parents describe you as helpful, warm, and easy to talk to
• Families stay longer because you reached out before problems grew
• Issues get resolved quickly with minimal back-and-forth
• You dont wait to be told what to do -- you see whats needed and act
  
  

You Might Be a Great Fit If You

• Have customer service or call center experience (education industry is a plus, not required)
• Speak and write English clearly and professionally
• Stay calm and kind even when a customer is upset
• Can juggle scheduling, calls, and follow-ups without dropping balls
• Work independently and dont need constant supervision
• Actually enjoy talking to people and solving problems
• Pick up new software and systems quickly -- we use multiple tools and youll need to learn them fast
• Be able to work from 11am EST to 9pm EST M-F.
