Are you a problem-solver who happens to use design as your primary tool? AvePoint is looking for a Product Designer to join our global team. While we value high-quality visual execution, this role is centered on understanding complex workflows and translating them into intuitive, functional experiences.
If you are someone who asks "Why?" before "How?", thrives on user data, and can articulate the logic behind every pixel, we want to talk to you. You will be a key bridge between our US-based strategy and global execution.
What You’ll Do
As a Product Designer at AvePoint, you won’t just be "skinning" interfaces; you’ll be architecting solutions. Your responsibilities include:
Logic-First Design: Translate complex business requirements into logical user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes that prioritize ease of use over mere decoration.
Data-Driven Iteration: Use insights from user research, heatmaps, and analytics to identify friction points and propose design-led solutions.
Design System Governance: Contribute to and maintain our global design system, ensuring every component is reusable, accessible, and scalable.
Proactive Collaboration: Work asynchronously with US-based Product Managers. You will be expected to document your design rationale clearly so the team understands the thinking behind the designs.
Usability Advocacy: Participate in (and eventually lead) usability testing sessions, synthesizing feedback into actionable design improvements.
Technical Partnership: Collaborate closely with developers to ensure that "pixel-perfect" designs are technically feasible and implemented with high fidelity.
What You’ll Bring To The Team
The "Product" Mindset: 3+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design, preferably within B2B SaaS or complex enterprise environments.
Strategic Communication: Ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders in a clear, professional manner. You aren't afraid to push back if a design isn't in the user's best interest.
Mastery of Tools: Expert-level proficiency in Figma (including advanced prototyping, auto-layout, and components).
Research Literacy: A solid understanding of user-centered design methodologies and experience turning raw research into user journeys and personas.
Self-Direction: The ability to work independently during PH hours while maintaining high alignment with a US-based team.
Portfolio Evidence: A portfolio that showcases your process—not just the final UI, but the sketches, wireframes, and "failed" versions that led to the final solution.
Bonus Points For
Understanding of Web Accessibility (WCAG 2.1) standards.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS constraints (you don't need to code, but you should know what’s hard to build).
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment using Jira or Azure DevOps.
What’s in it for you?
HMO coverage from day 1 of employment (plus 2 free dependents)
Group life insurance (upon regularization)
Wellness Reimbursement Program (upon regularization)
Paid annual and sick leaves (convertible into cash)
Paid compassionate leave (5 days)
Employee Dedication Award (years of service)
Employee Referral Bonus Program
Promoting diversity and inclusion
Business Travel Opportunity (Top Performers)
Hybrid Working Arrangement (3 days onsite & 2 days work-from-home)
