Treasury Associate - Finance MariBank

Job Description

• Manage bank-wide liquidity by managing inter-nostro cash movement, investment maturities and corporate funding
• Manage bank’s balance sheet by effectively matching asset exposures to various liability profile and ensuring a prudential risk-reward trade-off in Treasury portfolio and explain drivers across key balance sheet management metrics
• Monitor market/interest rate movements and proposing appropriate investment assets to purchase for yield enhancement
• Expand and manage counterparty relationships to enable broader access to Treasury assets and interbanking credit line
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and risk limits
• Creating and reviewing relevant Treasury policies as needed
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience (Finance or Economics)
• At least 5 years of experience in a related role
• Knowledge of fixed income products
• Proficient with Excel and Google Sheet
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Effective interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
