We Are Looking For

  • A seasoned Training Manager to join our team in the areas of technical documentation, graphic design, structured content management.
  • This role is critical in ensuring that our staff is proficient in our workflows, particularly in typesetting using Adobe InDesign and operations within our CMS. The Training Manager will be responsible for the successful training of new employees and re-training of existing staff, ensuring they adhere to our standards and processes, and work efficiently under stringent time constraints
  • This is a mid-senior level position where you are in charge of getting things done, rather than waiting and merely “doing” things without getting them done.



Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs for new hires and existing staff, focusing on Adobe InDesign workflows and our CMS.
  • Create easy-to-understand training materials and workflows for both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Utilize and integrate AI tools into your training programs and metrics.
  • Conduct regular and irregular training sessions and workshops to address knowledge gaps, reinforce best practices, and ensure staff efficiency. Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in Adobe InDesign and our CMS to continuously improve training content.
  • Collaborate with team leaders and supervisors to understand detailed job requirements and incorporate them into training programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making improvements as necessary to ensure staff are working efficiently.
  • Prepare onboarding plans and training schedules to ensure the smooth integration of new employees.
  • Stimulate and motivate under-performing employees, ensuring they meet performance standards under stringent time constraints.
  • Maintain a respected and authoritative presence, ensuring that staff follow training protocols and work efficiently.
  • Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in Adobe InDesign and our CMS to continuously improve training content.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
  • Experience with on-market content management systems.
  • Proficiency in AI tools and technologies beyond just ChatGPT, demonstrating the ability to integrate AI into training programs effectively.
  • Proven ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple way.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in training and developing staff, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Ability to create comprehensive training materials and workflows.
  • Technical aptitude to understand and train others in our CMS.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of technical documentation industry and/or experience with various ISO standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different departments and team members.
  • Serious and authoritative demeanor, with the ability to command respect and motivate staff.
