About The Team

The candidate will be responsible for forecasting product demand, managing inventory levels, and

replenishing the supply of goods to ensure that customer demand is met efficiently and cost-effectively. The

role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to collaborate across various departments, and a deep

understanding of supply chain management principles.

Job Description

Demand Planning:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, sales trends, and market insights.
  • Collaborate with the account management (internal and external) teams to align demand projections with

business objectives.

  • Regularly update and adjust forecasts to reflect changes in demand, seasonality, and promotions.

Supply Planning

  • Create and manage supply plans that align with demand forecasts, balancing inventory and lead times.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor supply chain disruptions and take corrective actions to ensure continuity of supply.

Inventory Management

  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet demand while avoiding overstocking or stockouts.
  • Track and report on key inventory metrics, including turnover rates, stock levels, and order fulfillment rates.

Collaboration And Communication

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (account management and warehouse) to ensure smooth execution of

supply chain activities.

  • Communicate supply chain issues and opportunities to management and other departments effectively.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, fill rates and stock levels regularly.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting trends, performance, and improvement areas.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify process inefficiencies and work to streamline demand and supply planning processes.
  • Suggest and implement best practices for demand and supply planning to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration

  • Professional Certifications such as:
  • Certified Industrial Engineering (CIE) Certification
  • Six Sigma Certification
