To support this momentum, our Procurement and Supplier Management (PSM) team in San Diego partners closely with our Global Business Services (GBS) organization in Manila. We’re now opening a Senior Buyer role—your opportunity to be at the center of Dexcom’s global procurement engine. If you want to contribute to impactful decision‑making, streamline processes, influence supplier partnerships, and help shape a world‑class procurement organization, this is where you belong. Where You Come In

  • You will champion procurement policies by reviewing system transactions, applying critical thinking, and driving full compliance.
  • You will review, validate, and approve Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders, ensuring complete documentation, accurate information, and adherence to procurement policies.
  • You will collaborate with Strategic Sourcing, IT system administrators, Accounts Payable, Internal Audit, and Procurement Consultants to support continuous improvements and resolve daily operational issues, including system integration errors.
  • You will run and analyze open PO reports to proactively close outdated items and support month‑end and quarter‑end activities.
  • You will analyze procurement activity to identify opportunities for contracts, punchouts, and supplier catalogs.
  • You will manage supplier onboarding and offboarding, you will negotiate supplier payment terms, and you will support supplier payment‑related needs.
  • You create and maintain procurement process flows, and you will lead process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency.
  • You will ensure that all procurement activities consistently meet compliance requirements and governance standards.
  • You will prepare compelling presentations and you will present insights confidently to senior stakeholders.
  • You will facilitate procurement training sessions and you will conduct regular office hours to improve system users’ knowledge of policies and processes.

What Makes You Successful

  • You bring a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, with strong experience in Administration and Accounting.
  • You are willing to work during US business hours (Pacific Standard Time).
  • You are fluent in English and communicate clearly, confidently, and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • You have strong end‑to‑end procurement experience, ideally with background in Strategic Sourcing.
  • You bring valuable procurement knowledge within manufacturing, medical devices, IT, facilities, operations, or sales/distribution industries.
  • You have extensive experience with business applications including ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and eProcurement platforms such as Coupa, plus familiarity with TPRM and Contract Lifecycle Management systems.
  • You are proficient in MS Office applications, project management tools like Smartsheet, and process‑mapping software.
  • You communicate with clarity—in writing and verbally—and confidently present your ideas across the organization.

Experience And Education Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience.
  • At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience
