The Americas Product Deployment team implements, integrates, and maintains end-to-end travel technology solutions.

We are seeking a technology-savvy and innovative SQL Programmer to join our team. This role is responsible for configuring and optimizing technology solutions, ensuring end-to-end quality, and supporting operational performance. You will work closely with product teams and technology developers to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database objects in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
• Perform database performance tuning through query optimization, indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, and efficient use of CTEs and temporary tables.
• Process, validate, and transform large-scale HR and operational datasets from multiple file formats (.csv, .xlsx, .txt) into optimized database solutions.
• Develop automated SQL workflows and integrate data processes using VisualCron or similar enterprise scheduling and automation tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while ensuring SLA compliance, data integrity, and operational efficiency.
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) development, including advanced SQL programming, stored procedures, functions, and query optimization.
• Strong expertise in database performance tuning, indexing, execution plans, and large-volume data processing.
• Experience with SQL automation tools (e.g., VisualCron) and ETL/data integration workflows is highly preferred.
• Proficient in analyzing complex datasets with strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, and HR or staffing-related data environments is an advantage.
