Social Media Content Creator

Symbos is looking for a creative and hands-on Social Media Content Generator to own end-to-end content creation across our social platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning ideas and raw footage into engaging short-form content that connects with audiences and strengthens brand presence.

You’ll be responsible for creating high-quality photo and video content across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, supporting brand growth as we continue to expand across Melbourne and Perth.

About The Role

Reporting to the Marketing & Social Media team, you’ll manage the full content lifecycle, from concept through to post-production. This includes static graphics, captions and short-form video, with a strong focus on platform-first content that drives engagement and visibility.

You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to support campaigns, store openings and promotional activity, while keeping content fresh, on-brand and aligned with business goals.

What you’ll be doing

• Create engaging photo and short-form video content optimised for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
• Edit raw footage into multiple platform-ready videos using Canva and CapCut
• Collaborate on content strategy and campaign planning
• Maintain a consistent and well-managed posting schedule
• Monitor social trends and apply relevant ideas to content planning
• Support marketing initiatives including store launches and promotions
• Track and report on engagement, reach and performance
  
  

• Proven experience creating social media content, ideally for visual-first platforms
• Strong skills in short-form video creation and editing
• Proficiency in Canva and CapCut
• Solid understanding of social media trends, formats and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and a good eye for visual storytelling
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a wider team
