Your Role

As an Estimator, you will:

Use Planswift to convert drawing PDF files and generate takeoff information.

Configure and update Excel integration to scale, highlight, and measure material quantities.

Evaluate bid documents to determine project scope and ensure all bid forms are properly executed.

Review IFC drawing packages for awarded projects and update estimates based on tender addendums.

Download and review tender files, including drawings and specifications, from email or bidding sites.

Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with tradespeople and suppliers.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Diploma or Degree in Construction, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience estimating in the commercial construction industry.
• Proficiency in using Planswift, including configuration and integration with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong ability to read and understand architectural construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data management.
• Experience in identifying and addressing technical discrepancies in bid documents.
• High level of initiative and demonstrated experience in managing multiple audit or tender engagements.
