Job Description

The Service Officer is responsible for managing the Service Assistants’ daily transactions; implementation of approved facilities; and account maintenance tasks for Corporate Loans and other corporate products availed of by clients; as well as administrative functions for the team including preparation of reports.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the teams Service Assistants in the fulfillment of account maintenance tasks, such as, but not limited to, document review, checking and submission of approved credit facilities, and regularization and reduction of documentary deficiencies
  • Manages the teams Service Assistants in the implementation of daily transactions, such as, but not limited to, loan availments, loan renewal, loan extension, past due monitoring, trade transactions, payments, repricing and collections
  • Tracks and manages his/her RM Teams compliance to the bank’s existing policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Prepares internal reports needed by the team in the discharge of its functions.
  • Performs administrative tasks such as budget authorization and monitoring.
  • Performs other responsibilities that may be needed by the team in the discharge of its functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Business
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a service or operations assistant servicing large corporate clients and/or related areas or disciplines
  • Strong service quality
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Strong in credit process and operations
  • Strong client empathy and highly organized with attention to detail
