Your Role
As An SEO Specialist, You Will
Execute best-in-class organic visibility strategies across traditional search engines, answer engines, and generative AI platforms, following established methodologies and deployment frameworks.
Conduct technical and entity audits to evaluate machine comprehension, crawlability, AI bot accessibility, schema markup implementation, Core Web Vitals, and cross-platform consistency.
Implement and validate structured data and schema markup, including Organization, LocalBusiness, FAQ, HowTo, and Article schemas.
Perform AI visibility assessments across platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews to evaluate brand representation and citation presence.
Support the creation of AEO-focused content briefs using snippet optimization, passage-level enhancements, and conversational query frameworks.
Analyze data from Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and AI visibility tools to monitor rankings, citations, and entity growth.
Audit cross-web entity consistency across platforms such as Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Maps, and Wikidata to strengthen brand authority and AI confidence.
Maintain detailed documentation of audit findings, implementation progress, and prioritized recommendations.
Stay up to date with developments in SEO, AEO, and GEO, including algorithm updates and evolving generative search behaviors.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
At least 2–3 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in a specialist, lead, or digital agency role.
Strong understanding of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), including how AI platforms retrieve, rank, and cite content.
Proficiency in SEMrush or Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Screaming Frog or Sitebulb.
Practical experience implementing and validating structured data and schema markup.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Excellent written communication skills with experience creating professional audits, reports, and content briefs.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality.
Preferred Skills/Expertise
Experience with AI visibility and brand-monitoring platforms such as Profound or Scrunch AI.
Strong interest in artificial intelligence, search innovation, and how brands gain visibility across generative search experiences.
