💼 How can you contribute to the team?
The Solution Developer (ServiceNow) is responsible for developing, coordinating, and architecting all activities related to the development of ServiceNow, including integration with existing applications and third-party solutions, that support the department’s initiative. This includes identifying and troubleshooting any application issues, resolving or escalating them as needed. Additionally, she/he will assist in gathering requirements, building business cases, and estimating effort for enhancements of existing solutions. She/he will work closely with the Project Manager/ Team/Platform Lead and reports to designated senior International Staff and/or senior National Staff.
Scope Of Work/Responsibilities
Technical Development and Implementation
Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules
Build complex scripts, workflows, forms, and business rules to meet organizational needs and enhance system functionality
Conduct root cause analysis for platform issues and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime
Organize and structure taxonomies, knowledge bases, record producers, and self-service portals to enhance user accessibility and experience
Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and team members to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
Participate in release and iteration planning meetings with the development team and other key stakeholders to align on project goals and timelines
Contribute to solution design and lead the development and testing phases, ensuring an exceptional user experience
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and platform guidelines
Support production releases and actively monitor the delivery of applications, ensuring smooth deployment and operations
Knowledge Management:
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including Design Specifications: High-Level Solution Design (HLSD), Solution Design Document (SDD), Security and Governance: Security License to Operate (SLTO), Solution Deployment Plan
Monitor platform compliance with data protection regulations, ensuring all solutions adhere to organizational and legal standards
Continuous Improvement and Compliance:
Identify opportunities for process optimization and propose enhancements to improve system usability, efficiency, and automation
Ensure alignment of solutions with ITIL practices, organizational policies, and industry standards for security, compliance, and governance.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid, requiring employees to report onsite three times a week in Ortigas
