Your Role

As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, you will:

• Lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test cases including functional, regression, integration, performance, and end-to-end testing.
• Translate business and system requirements into detailed, traceable test plans and scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing using tools such as Selenium, Postman, or SoapUI.
• Drive defect triage, root cause analysis, and validation of fixes prior to release.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Service Operations, and cross-functional teams to ensure complete and accurate test coverage.
• Mentor junior QA Analysts and promote adherence to QA standards and best practices.
• Maintain structured defect tracking and documentation using Jira, ALM, or similar tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation enhancements, and reusable QA frameworks.
  
  

What You Need

Required Skills & Experience

Education / Training

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  
  

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Experience testing across all software types (functional, regression, performance, and integration).
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing lifecycle, and documentation standards.
• Experience working in environments running on Windows with Oracle or other transactional databases.
• Working knowledge with XML, HTML, JavaScript, VB, C#, Python scripting, or equivalent languages.
• Knowledge of healthcare IT or claims processing preferred.
  
  

Technical Proficiency

• Familiarity with QA automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data structures.
• Skills in creating and maintaining test environments and configurations.
• Proficiency in using tools such as SQL Developer, Excel, and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, ALM).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: ISTQB, CAST, or AWS Cloud Practitioner.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 3+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience in manual and automated testing.
• Strong experience in functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Experience working in Windows environments with Oracle or other transactional databases.
• Hands-on experience with QA automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, or SoapUI.
• Proficiency in SQL, SQL Developer, and defect tracking systems such as Jira or ALM.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
