Role Overview
Edge Tutor is scaling a multi-product EdTech (Education Technology) ecosystem that includes the Tutor Database, Tutor Portal, ATS (Applicant Tracking System), CRM (Customer Relationship Management system), Client Order & Booking platforms, and Lesson Support and Monitoring Systems.
We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to introduce strong product execution and discovery discipline, act as the primary Product representative to non-technical teams, and significantly improve delivery clarity and pace across engineering squads.
This role creates net new product capacity, reduces execution friction, and enables teams to deliver predictable, high-quality outcomes.
Mandatory: Prior experience in online tutoring platforms, EdTech, or education technology products.
Key Responsibilities
Product Execution & Discovery
Own end-to-end product requirements, including PRDs (Product Requirement Documents), detailed specifications, and acceptance criteria.
Lead product discovery and validation with internal stakeholders and end users.
Manage backlog prioritization and roadmap execution cadence.
Define and track OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with measurable outcomes per major build.
Cross-Functional Alignment
Act as the primary bridge between internal clients and the Product and Engineering team.
Translate business requirements into clear, actionable product direction.
Manage scope, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations across squads.
Own rollout readiness, go-live coordination, and internal product communications.
UI/UX Ownership
Own end-to-end user journeys, workflows, and UX requirements.
Partner closely with Product Design to produce wireframes and prototypes.
Facilitate usability feedback loops with Operations teams, Account Managers, and Tutors.
Ensure UI consistency, usability, and scalability across platforms.
Delivery Discipline
Reduce mid-sprint requirement changes and scope creep.
Improve delivery predictability and execution clarity.
Maintain product documentation, decision logs, and internal rollout references.
Qualifications
5–8+ years of Product Management experience.
Mandatory: Direct experience with online tutoring platforms, EdTech products, or education technology systems.
Demonstrated ownership of entire product domains and platforms, not just individual features or components.
Proven ability to set product direction and priorities across multiple internal stakeholders (Operations, Recruitment, Sales, Training, Engineering).
Strong experience leading product work in environments with incomplete data, ambiguous requirements, and evolving constraints.
Track record of translating unclear or competing business needs into clear, executable product direction.
Strong written communication skills, including PRDs (Product Requirement Documents), specifications, and decision logs.
High comfort operating in fast-paced, execution-heavy environments with minimal guardrails.
Excellent stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Clear product priorities and delivery timelines within the first 30–60 days.
Fewer disruptions to engineering due to clearer requirements and better discovery.
Product Owners and Team Leads relieved of PM administrative workload.
Consistent, intuitive UI/UX workflows across all platforms.
Predictable delivery cadence with fewer reactive pivots and escalations.
Faster feedback loops between business teams and engineering.
What We’re Not Looking For
PMs without hands-on EdTech or online tutoring platform experience.
Purely strategic PMs who do not execute at a detailed, hands-on level.
Candidates who require rigid processes, long decision cycles, or heavy structure.
Project Managers without ownership of product discovery, UX, or outcome measurement.
PMs who expect to manage developers directly rather than define the what and why.
Work Set-up And Requirements
Schedule: You’ll need to be available for at least five (5) overlapping hours each day with our teams in Sri Lanka and the Philippines.
Workdays: Five-day workweek with two rest days.
Location: Fully remote (Philippines)
Fully comfortable with time monitoring software
Desktop/laptop with Intel i5 (10th gen), 8GB RAM or higher
Minimum 25 Mbps internet speed with backup connection
Backup power supply for at least 8 hours
